The magnetiQ Wastewater Extraction Kit provides an efficient and high-throughput RNA/DNA from influent wastewater with light to heavy sludge content. Up to 10 mL can be processed with simple manual or semi-automated protocols in under 40 minutes.

The kit utilizes functionalized and differentiated magnetic functional particles for the concentration of the pathogen from a large sample volume and isolation of nucleic acid eluted. Pure RNA and DNA are concentrated into 100 µL of elution buffer and can be used for microbial and pathogen detection, via qPCR, qRT-PCR and NGS depending on experimentation analysis needs.

  Wastewater DNA/RNA Extraction

The magnetiQ Wastewater DNA/RNA Extraction Kit allows you to extract a high quantity of DNA/RNA from various microorganisms found in wastewater, including bacteria, fungi, algae, etc., resulting in a lower CT value.

RNA and DNA that have been extracted from the sample are concentrated in 100 µL of elution buffer and can be used for microbial and pathogen detection via qPCR, qRT-PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
